The Morgan 프로젝트는 노후화된 타운하우스 2세대를 대상으로, 건축의 기능적 요구와 인테리어의 심미적 욕구를 동시에 충족시키기 위한 디자인 및 시공 과정이다. 기존 공간이 가진 눈에 보이지 않는 여러 문제점을 해결하고자 세심한 노력을 기울였다. 특히 복층 구조의 거실 공간의 특징을 극대화하기 위해 조명 계획을 수립하고 공용부 마감을 정교하게 다듬었다. 여기에 새로운 다이닝과 주방 레이아웃을 재구성하여 공간의 확장감을 더욱 부각시켰으며, 편안함과 세련미를兼비한 LDK(Living, Dining, Kitchen) 구성을 완성했다. 이 과정에서 기존 주택의 한계를 넘어 현대적이고 실용적인 주거 환경을 제공하는 데 초점을 맞췄으며, 거주자의 삶의 질을 향상시키는 데 기여하고자 했다.
The Morgan project is a design and construction process aimed at meeting both the functional needs of architecture and the aesthetic desires of interior design for two generations of aging townhouses. Considerable effort was made to address the hidden issues of the existing space. To highlight the characteristics of the duplex living room, careful lighting plans and refined finishes for common areas were implemented. Additionally, a new layout for the dining and kitchen areas was designed to enhance the sense of spaciousness, completing a comfortable and sophisticated LDK (Living, Dining, Kitchen) configuration. The focus was on transforming the limitations of the old residence into a modern, practical living environment, ultimately aiming to improve the residents' quality of life.
